Mr. Gilbert Ma

Gilbert Ma has an extensive background investing in Asia. He is currently a Senior Consultant to The Chao's Group, working on investment opportunities and joint venture projects for several petroleum and chemical companies throughout Asia.

Prior to that, Mr. Ma was President of Fortune Consulting Group, one of the largest venture capital firms in Taiwan. He was responsible for the investment business, including co-investments with a variety of strategic partners.

Previous to that, Mr. Ma was President of Kuang-Hwa Investment Holdings, one of the three largest investment holding companies in Taiwan. Kuang-Hwa Investment specializes in the high-technology industry, with several of its Silicon Valley-based investments listed on NASDAQ. Mr. Ma had extensive experience in financial management and operations roles.

Prior to Kuang-Hwa Investments, he was Senior Vice President of Central Investment Holdings, an influential investment company in Taiwan that invests in diversified fields such as financial, petrochemical, environmental, pharmaceutical and high-technology industries.

Mr. Ma has also worked in sales and marketing roles for Exxon Chemical and China Gulf Plastics Group.

Mr. Ma received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tunghai University and an MBA National Taiwan University.
